Here's the initial sketch done with pencil and paper.
From here, I drew over it in Photoshop, but got some less than stellar results.
I didn't like how it was coming along, so I scrapped it and started again using the same sketch, but did the lineart in Illustrator this time, then painted with Autodesk Sketchbook, then tidied up in Photoshop.
Tada! Finished product.
